You will typically need

A passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date (verify officially).
A visa appropriate to your nationality — e-visa, visa on arrival, or embassy visa.
Proof of onward/return travel and accommodation may be requested.
A yellow-fever certificate if arriving from a risk country.

Apply for an e-visa only on the official Egyptian government portal: visa2egypt.gov.eg ↗. Beware of look-alike sites that add fees.
