e-Visa

Many nationalities can apply online before travel via the official portal visa2egypt.gov.eg ↗. Apply several days ahead.

Visa on arrival

Some nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival at Egyptian airports, typically for a 30-day single-entry tourist stay, paid at the bank counter before immigration.

Embassy visa

Other nationalities must apply in advance at an Egyptian embassy or consulate. Use the Entry Checker to see which applies to you.
